Manage, search, migrate & back up your object storage — on autopilot
One console for Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, and Google Cloud Storage: cross-account bucket management, scheduled backups, server migrations, and search across millions of objects. No CLI, no console-hopping, no deep S3 experience required.
Everything the S3 CLI does — and the parts it doesn't
From one-off uploads to fleet-scale replication, BucketPilot covers the whole lifecycle of your object storage.
Every AWS account, one console
Connect with a one-click CloudFormation role or access keys (encrypted at rest) and manage buckets across all your accounts and regions side by side.
Search millions of objects
BucketPilot indexes your buckets so you can search up to 50M objects with wildcards, and filter by extension, size, or storage class — instantly.
Scheduled backup jobs
Sync bucket to bucket — cross-account, cross-region. Runs are incremental: already-synced objects are skipped, so re-runs cost seconds, not hours.
Set-and-forget schedules
Hourly, daily, or weekly runs with live progress, per-object run logs, and email notifications when a job finishes or needs attention.
Pause, resume, cancel — instantly
Stop a running transfer the moment you click. Resume later and it picks up exactly where it left off, skipping everything already copied.
Server → S3 migrations
Point BucketPilot at any server or machine you can reach over SSH/SFTP and move file trees into S3 with the same scheduling, progress, and retry machinery as backups.
Lifecycle, policies & storage classes
Edit lifecycle rules, bucket policies, tags, and storage classes — one object or thousands at once — without touching the AWS console.
Direct-to-S3 uploads
Browser uploads go straight to S3 with presigned URLs. No proxy in the middle, no throughput ceiling — drag, drop, done.
Know what storage costs
Per-bucket size and cost estimates by storage class, so you can spot the expensive data before the invoice does.
You always know what happened
Live progress bars, per-object run logs, in-app and email notifications, and a full activity trail for every job and upload.
Failures heal themselves
Transient network errors retry with backoff automatically. If a worker dies mid-run, the run is detected and recovered — no silent losses.
Your data stays yours
Your object data isn't persistently stored by BucketPilot — we keep metadata only. Browser transfers go direct over presigned URLs, and the migrations and backups you configure stream data between source and destination without keeping it. Credentials are encrypted at rest.
Business plan
One workspace for your whole team
Buckets, jobs, and history shared across your organization — with the guardrails that let you invite people without holding your breath.
Roles that mean something
Admins manage everything; members work without touching credentials or deletes; read-only viewers can look but never break. Enforced server-side, not just hidden buttons.
See the whole team's picture
Per-member activity and storage contribution, a savings finder with real dollar amounts, backup health for every bucket, and a Monday digest that keeps everyone honest.
An audit trail you can hand over
Every action attributed to who did it — including blocked attempts — with one-click CSV export for compliance reviews.
How a team works in BucketPilot
- 1.Create your organization and invite teammates by email, right from the Team page — they get a branded invite and join in one click.
- 2.Your buckets, credentials, jobs, and history become the team's shared workspace. Everything shows who did it.
- 3.Assign roles: admins manage everything, members work without deletes or credential access, viewers see everything and touch nothing — enforced by the API, not hidden buttons.
- 4.Attempted actions beyond someone's role land in the shared activity feed, so permission gaps surface before they become tickets.
- 5.Every Monday the owner gets a digest — storage, spend, savings, backup coverage, team activity. Members can opt in too.

Free — $0. When a plan lapses you keep read-only access to everything, for good: browse buckets, download objects, view job history. There is no countdown — nothing is deleted, and your AWS data is never touched. Jobs and re-indexing stop until you subscribe again.
Start free trial →Prices in USD. "Managed S3 data" is the total size of the buckets you connect — your files stay in your S3 and AWS bills you for storage as usual; BucketPilot is not a storage host. Cancel any time — your account keeps read-only access for as long as you want it, and your AWS data is never touched.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. Signing up starts a 14-day trial with full Pro access — schedules, backup jobs, migrations, everything. You only enter a card when you subscribe.
Does BucketPilot store my files?
No — your object data is not persistently stored by BucketPilot. We keep metadata (keys, sizes, storage classes) to power search, and browser transfers go directly to your storage over presigned URLs. During a migration or backup you configure, BucketPilot may temporarily stream data between source and destination without persisting the object contents.
Am I paying BucketPilot for storage?
No — AWS keeps billing you for S3 storage exactly as before. The "managed S3 data" figure in each plan is simply how much of your own S3 data BucketPilot will manage, index, and run jobs against. It's a plan size, not a hosting fee.
What happens when my trial or subscription ends?
Your account drops to the Free tier and stays there — free, for as long as you want it. You keep read-only access to browse and download everything you connected; there is no countdown and nothing is deleted. What stops is the acting: no jobs, no re-indexing, no changes. Nothing in your AWS account is ever touched. Re-subscribe any time and everything picks up where it left off.
Can I manage billing myself?
Yes — plan changes, card updates, invoices, and cancellation are all self-serve inside the app. Stripe handles the money; you never leave BucketPilot.
