Editorial teams, agencies and studios asked for the simplest possible way to get files from a laptop into a bucket: no console, no keys, no upload page. BucketPilot Drop is that.

A drive, not a website

On a Mac it sits under *Locations* in Finder; on Windows it is a drive under *This PC*. Drag files or whole folders in, from Finder, Explorer, or a Save dialog, and they upload in the background. Once a file has arrived it leaves the drop — moved to the Trash or Recycle Bin, never deleted, so a wrong drop is one *Put Back* away — and a short tone plays when a batch is done.

You, not a key

Press *Sign in with BucketPilot*, approve the code in your browser, and the app is you: your workspace, your role, the folders you are allowed to write to and nothing more. Nobody types an access key into a laptop. Each connected computer is listed under Settings → Connected devices, with its history, and can be disconnected from there in one click; connections and disconnections are in the audit trail, and every upload made this way is recorded as *"via BucketPilot Drop"* with the device's name.

One way, by design

Files go in; nothing ever comes out. The app has no way to delete anything from your bucket, so a shared drop cannot become a shared delete.

Works with buckets and with your servers

Point it at any bucket in your workspace, including BucketPilot Cloud, or at one of your connected server drives. Choose a folder inside it and every team member's drops land there.

A window that tells you what is happening

Open it and you get the status at a glance — *Up to date*, *Uploading… 3 left*, *Paused* — the most recent files, anything that needs attention with the reason in plain words and a Retry button, where files are going, and a search box across recent activity.
