BucketPilot Cloud: the price, plainly

BucketPilot Cloud storage costs $0.015 per GiB-month (about $15 per TiB), with no download, request or transfer fees — now stated on the pricing page and in the docs, not only at the moment you create a bucket.

Until now the BucketPilot Cloud rate was shown in one place: the panel you see when creating a Cloud bucket. It is now on the pricing page, on the Cloud documentation page and on the managed-storage page as well.

The price: $0.015 per GiB-month (about $15 per TiB). There are no download, request or transfer fees. Every object counts as at least 4 KiB, and storage is billed for a minimum of 90 days from the day a bucket is created — a bucket removed early is billed to the end of its term, and shows on the invoice as its own line.

How it is billed: on the 1st of each month, for the month that ended, as its own invoice titled *BucketPilot Cloud storage*, separate from your plan. The amount is your daily average over the month at the rate above. Your card is charged when the invoice is issued; the card statement reads *BUCKETPILOT CLOUD*. Under $0.50 for a month, nothing is charged and the line is recorded on your Billing page.

One unit everywhere: GiB (1,024³ bytes) — on the create panel, the Billing page, the invoice and now the docs. The docs used to say GB in places; the two differ by seven percent, so they now agree.

The Billing page shows what you hold now, this month's running average and what it comes to so far, and every Cloud invoice with a link to it.
